Sarah's Flowers

My wife Sarah and I started dating in the fall of 2007.  At the time, she was still living in Chicago and I was living in Iowa City working on my teaching licensure.  In early February of 2008, with Valentines Day approaching, Sarah called me and told me that she was not expecting any flowers and that I should save my money.  So, instead of sending her a bouquet of roses, I sent her an illustration of her favorite flower, the tulip.  Every February 14 since, Sarah has received a flower.  The flowers for each year are in the gallery below.
